Greetings Friends,
Happy Equinox! In Latin, Equinox means "equal night," as the length of the day and night are the same. After seeking refuge with The Hermit in Virgo Season, we are ready to find balance in our relationships with Libra.
Often associated with the Justice card in the Tarot, the energy of Libra evokes the exquisite harmony of nature and its laws. The Justice card, like certain natural laws, cannot be f*cked with. When this card appears in a reading, it's a sign to accept the reality of our situation and know that our actions carry significant weight.
In the ethereal deck The Fountain Tarot, artist Jonathan Saiz depicts Justice as a goddess peering through the veil. This evokes the mysterious quality of cosmic Justice, an energy that goes beyond petty reckoning to find center in an unbalanced world. There is a triangle of light in the foreground, both coming from the mouth of the Goddess and creating the foundation on which she stands. This illustrates the energy of Libra, a sign known for its fearless, impeccable ability to speak truth to power and persevere.
Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of love and connection, reminding us that Justice is ultimately a servant of the heart. As an Air sign, Libra's intellect is hard to match. But when coupled with the heart's longing for beauty, love and equality, its energy becomes unstoppable.
With love and justice,
Lisa
