Reflecting on the Moon in Pisces Season

Princess Kaguya stands on a bridge and looks at the Moon. Two tanukis, shapeshifters stand beside her, one looks at the moon, one looks at the moon's reflection in the water. Which one is real?
The Moon Card from Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitant

Greetings Friends,

Welcome to the last astrological season of the year! After basking in the light of The Star, we reflect on the power of The Moon. In the Tarot, The Moon is associated with Pisces, the sign that serves the collective through feeling it all and letting things flow.

In readings, The Moon signals us to give the analytical mind a rest and feel our way forward. Whether we do this through music, poetry or howling at the moon. This is the season to let ourselves be wild.

In her vibrant, fantastical deck, Tarot of the Divine, Yoshi Yoshitani interprets the tarot through the lens of folklore from around the world. In The Moon card, she pictures Princess Kaguya, the Shining One, with two tanukis (shape-shifters), on either side. One tanuki looks up at the moon, while the other looks at its reflection in the water. But which one is real? And why does it matter?

The Moon calls us to experience life without fear or needing to know. In order to flow with the mystery, we can surrender the question of what it all means  for the the sensation of how it all feels. Thus letting our tender, intuitive wisdom take the lead.

With love and sweet surrender,

Lisa
